As a Software Engineering Lead (f/m/d) at Intervall, you work on exciting, challenging and innovative projects for well-known customers in a wide variety of areas. You are responsible for the overall software development, coordinate various experts from our interdisciplinary team, act independently and strive to find intelligent and efficient solutions.
Tasks
- Management and coordination of diverse and exciting software development projects
- Definition and coordination of development tasks
- Coordination and further development of the internal development team
- Coordination of cooperations with external partners
- Conception and definition of software architectures as well as technical interfaces for digital solutions
- Development and maintenance of software components in the area of sensor technology and embedded AI - we are technology open and like to work in Rust, Go, Python and JavaScript using functional programming, object oriented programming, asynchronous programming, performance optimization and high test coverage using unit and integration tests
- Tasks in the areas of app and software development, web technology, front-end and back-end architecture, data storage & cloud hosting, data security, development environments and build pipelines, machine learning
- Documentation, presentation and explanation of results for customers, but also internally with colleagues and in talks
- Close coordination and collaboration with Data Scientists and Designers
- Establishing and cultivating existing and new customer relations
Expertise
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in the field of software development (ideally experience as software architect or team lead)
- Several years of project management experience in a digital environment as well as stakeholder management
- Profound knowledge of software architecture, IT and computer science (especially in the areas of data structures, functional and object-oriented programming and databases (relational and NoSQL), API design and implementation
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Electrical Engineering or comparable qualification
- Passion and enthusiasm for elegant code
- Analytical skills and a precise and independent way of working
- Team player with commitment and high sense of responsibility (working independently, motivated, goal-oriented, pro-active)
- Very good knowledge of the German and English language
